Job Vacancy: Assembly Machine Setter / Operator - Waterlooville, Hampshire

Hi Technology Group are based in Waterlooville, Hampshire and are seeking capable, motivated, smart individuals to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

As part of our ongoing improvement projects we will be recruiting a Machine Setter/Operator to the Assembly team as follows:

 

Responsible for:

The initial set up and subsequent process control of key plant and equipment.

Purpose:

To ensure key plant and equipment is set up to produce required levels of output in respect of cycle time and quality.

Main Duties:

  • Set up of all assembly equipment including (but not limited to);
  •   Heat inserters
  •   Sonic welders
  •   Industrial drills inc. CNC Robodrill
  •   Manumold moulding machines
  •   Hand and pneumatic crimping machines
  •   Crimp testing equipment
  •   Cutting equipment
  •   Testing equipment
  • Support in new production process and equipment
  • Process monitoring
  • TPM
  • Provide fault finding and corrective action to operators/processes
  • Carry out all operations as per work instructions.

Other Duties: 

  • Maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer any paperwork in associate with the role and department
  • Maintain good working practices to achieve exemplary levels of housekeeping
  • Work within the company’s QMS and Environmental procedures
  • Maintain good Health and Safety practices
  • Utilise all internal equipment and stationary to undertake day to day role.
