Hi Technology Group are based in Waterlooville, Hampshire and are seeking capable, motivated, smart individuals to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

As part of our ongoing improvement projects we will be recruiting a Sales Account Manager to the team as follows:

Responsible for:

  • The promotion of the services of the Hi-Technology Group with current and future potential customers.  Account Management of existing customers with respect to pricing, strategy and continuous improvement activities.
  • To achieve business growth year on year within assigned accounts through effective Account Management.
  • To maintain a sound commercial structure for costing decisions, providing a realistic pricing structure for varying batch quantities.
  • Establish continuous dialogue with customers to maintain current partnerships and a customer care philosophy.
  • Prepare moulding estimates including calculations of component weights, cycle times and proposed tooling layouts/impressions for assigned/new customers.
  • To liaise will all areas of the business in order to communicate accurate information to Customers.

Main Duties:

• Seek new potential customers with potential growth for the Hi-Technology Group.
• Account Manage established Customers to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
• To prepare quotations requesting support from strategic functions to achieve this when required.
• Ensure quotations are followed up within one week of completion and establish a potential conversion percentage which is to be reported in the weekly Sales Meeting.
• Prepare and complete visit reports for the whole business, ensuring all actions are completed in a timely manner in line with the Customers expectations.
• Ensure that the enquiry data-base for accounts/quotations is maintained.
• Be proactive in providing positive responses to the day-to-day challenges that arise seeking solutions rather than highlighting problems ensuring customer requirements are main focus.

The Ideal candidate will have the following –

  • Demonstrable experience of sales/account management in previous roles.  Able to demonstrate exception account management skills and growth with in assigned accounts
  • 5 years+ key account or sales experience
  • Understanding of sales pipeline planning functions, forecasting and basic marketing tools.
  • Effective communicator at all levels both verbal and written.
  • IT literate – Effective use of Microsoft Office software; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access.
  • Be able to work on their own initiative.
  • Working within a team to achieve departmental and business objectives
  • A positive “can do” attitude
