Shift Supervisor

Hi-Technology Group is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of technical plastics and bespoke injection moulding tooling solutions.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our production team. This permanent position will be well suited to an individual with a strong background in manufacturing and ideally Plastic Injection Moulding experience, who enjoys working with processes and has the ability to successfully impart information to others.

The position

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the allocation of resources to meet schedules, including temporary staff planning
  • Ensure that production capacity planning meets customer expectations
  • Ensure that an OTIF target of 100% and an internal OEE target of 80% is achieved
  • Ensure that employees’ quality of work meets Company standards
  • Ensure that work instructions are up to date and being followed accordingly
  • Ensure that training and development activities are successfully undertaken and recorded
  • Support and coach employees by providing real-time feedback on their performance

About you

  • Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor / Shift Manager or similar role is essential
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Previous experience working within the Plastic Injection Moulding Industry would be desirable
  • Previous experience implementing operational processes is essential
  • Previous experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools would be desirable
  • Good knowledge of operational principles and policies
  • Good IT skills including MS office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
