Hi Technology Group are based in Waterlooville, Hampshire and are seeking capable, motivated, smart individuals to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

As part of our ongoing improvement projects we will be recruiting a Tool Hanger to the team as follows:

Responsible for:

Safe operation of moulding machines and associated equipment. To meet production targets. To maintain agreed quality standards. When requested to assist the technical team with the safe removal and loading of the injection mould tooling from the machines.

Purpose:

To produce good quality product within costed cycle. To support the technical team by assisting with the efficient tool change of the plant / equipment to ensure we maintain production capability and best practice within the manufacturing facility as and when requested.

Main Duties:

  • Check product for quality as per 1st off sample
  • Ensure mouldings are packed correctly and to the correct quantity per box/bag
  • Inform Quality Technician of any deviation to 1st off
  • Check machine is producing to agreed targets
  • Report product produced at end of shift
  • Complete Works Orders and related quality paperwork

Other Duties:

  • Housekeeping around machines (with respect to 6’s culture)
  • Second operation work as required
  • Support Quality Technicians where possible
  • The Safe removal and loading of mould tools ( After appropriate level of training)
  • The operation and correct use of the Injection moulding machine and any ancillary equipment relative to the removal and loading of the mould tool
  • Training to be given using the references within “ The Technician Operating Procedure”
  • Flexible to the changing needs and requirements of the department, team and business
