Hi-Technology Group Ltd Appoints Peter Tyler as Group Managing Director

An experienced Senior Level Leader, Peter was most recently Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Tideland Signal. During his time with Tideland, Peter was a member of the Global Leadership team, running the EMEA Region which included responsibility as the Sole Director for the subsidiary Safe Sea Services in the UAE and Lead Director of the Dutch organisation IMT b.v. acquired by Tideland in 2015, and which Peter ran prior to leaving Tideland when the business as a whole was sold to the US Corporate, Xylem Inc.

Peter was also formerly Managing Director of Vikoma International from 2012 to 2014, and a Board Director of the Industry Association UKSpill in 2014 before leaving Vikoma to join Tideland.

Peter also has 13 years in the advanced composites sector with Swiss-owned Gurit UK most recently as Head of Sales for the Marine and Architectural Business Unit and he also held prior roles leading the UK Operations and Logistics within Gurit.

David Harbord will be returning to Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect but will continue to support the business for a couple of days a week over the next month to facilitate a controlled transition.
