Technical Account Manager

We are currently looking for a new talented addition to our Sales Team. We are looking for a technically minded Account Manager to join us and be part of our success! If you are looking for a customer focused role within the Plastic Injection Moulding Industry, you enjoy working with technical and engineering information and you are passionate about delivering a world class customer experience, then this permanent position would be ideal for you.

This well-rounded and demanding role will include overseeing a portfolio of assigned accounts, developing new business from existing clients and seeking new sales opportunities. In this role you will:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Proactively seek and develop new business with existing and new clients and identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Identify opportunities to capitalize on products or services or potential new opportunities that meet the design and manufacturing capabilities of the business
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs and qualify leads as sales opportunities

About you

  • Previous experience as an Account Manager working within an Engineering environment
  • Previous experience within the Plastic Injection Moulding industry
  • Strong understanding of the Plastics Injection Moulding Industry
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles as a minimum
  • Knowledge of pricing practices
  • Strong understanding of what element can affect pricing
  • Ability to assess the market and identify new business opportunities
  • Ability to impart technical information successfully
